Senior Independence:  Technology Support

 
To help you maintain your independent lifestyle, our technology support team offers a wide range of devices and monitoring systems to help keep you safe and secure in your own home. Services in your area may include:
  • Personal Emergency Alert Systems – At the touch of a small waterproof pendant, the in-home voice-to-voice communicator is activated and the monitoring center is contacted, whenever you need it, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The center will immediately contact emergency personnel if needed or contact a friend, neighbor or relative to assist in non-emergency situations.
  • Medication Dispensers – Available dispensers include a reminder system that automatically dispenses medication and vitamins in accordance with prescribed treatment programs.
  • Home Telehealth Systems – This new tool allows you to communicate with your nurse and receive care and monitoring from a distance. Both video and non-video remote monitoring systems may be available.
